Motor Vehicle Accident Physiotherapy
Service Description
In Ontario, if you're injured in a motor vehicle accident, your insurance company will typically pay for physiotherapy and other medical treatments under the Statutory Accident Benefits Schedule (SABS). These benefits fall into three categories, each with different levels of coverage based on the severity of the injury: 1. Minor Injury Guideline (MIG) - $99.75 per session * Applies to sprains, strains, whiplash, and other soft tissue injuries. * Coverage limit: Up to $3,500 for medical and rehabilitation benefits. * Often includes physiotherapy, chiropractic, and massage therapy. * Goal: Fast-track recovery for less severe injuries. 2. Non-Catastrophic Injury -OCF 18 $99.75 per session * For injuries more serious than those in the MIG but not classified as catastrophic. * Coverage limit: Up to $65,000 for medical, rehabilitation, and attendant care combined. * Valid for up to 5 years from the date of the accident (for adults). 3. Catastrophic Impairment - OCF 18 $105 per session * For severe injuries like paralysis, amputation, or traumatic brain injury. * Coverage limit: Up to $1,000,000 for medical, rehabilitation, and attendant care. * Valid for the injured person’s lifetime. Cancellation Policy
At Orebody Physiotherapy we strive to provide high-quality home care physiotherapy services tailored to your needs. To ensure a smooth experience for all clients, please review our booking policy below. Bookings can be made over the phone or email, Appointment confirmation will be provided via SMS/email/call. We require a minimum of 24 hours notice for cancellations or rescheduling. Late cancellation (less than 24 hours) may incur a cancellation fee of $40 Payment is due at the time of service unless otherwise agreed upon. We accept cash, insurance and e-transfer. Any outstanding balances must be cleared before next appointment. Our home care physiotherapy services cover the Greater Sudbury area. Additional travel fees may apply for locations outside our standard service area. Please ensure a safe and accessible environment for the physiotherapist to conduct the session. If a client has any health concerns, they must inform us before the appointment. For urgent appointments , please contact us directly, and we will do our best to accommodate your needs. Special requests (e.g., specific equipment or extended sessions) should be discussed in advance. By booking an appointment, you agree to comply with this policy.
