4. Telehealth / Virtual Care

If using virtual physiotherapy:

You must be physically located in Ontario at the time of service unless otherwise permitted by legislation and professional standards

You are responsible for providing a safe environment for exercise and movement

Technical issues may affect service delivery; we are not responsible for disruptions outside our control

5. Client Responsibilities

Clients agree to:

Provide accurate and complete health information

Disclose relevant medical history and medications

Follow clinical guidance for home exercise and safety

Not misuse or share prescribed exercise programs without permission

Communicate changes in health status

6. Fees, Insurance & Payment

Fees are clearly listed or communicated prior to service

Payment is due at the time of service unless otherwise arranged

Insurance coverage varies; you are responsible for verifying eligibility

We may assist with insurance submissions but are not responsible for reimbursement outcomes

7. Cancellation & Missed Appointments

A cancellation and/or no-show policy may apply

Notice must be provided per clinic policy (e.g., 24 hours)

Applicable cancellation fees are the responsibility of the client and may not be covered by insurance

8. Risks & Consent

Physiotherapy may involve physical activity, manual therapy, exercise, and therapeutic devices. Risks may include temporary discomfort, bruising, dizziness, soreness, or aggravation of symptoms.

Informed consent is required and may be withdrawn at any time.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by Ontario law, the clinic and its providers are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from:

Use of the website

Misinterpretation of educational content

Unsupervised exercise or home program use

Failure to follow safety instructions
